Successfully Cycled ALL 525+ Miles in the California Coast Classic 2014 for Charity!

September 20, 2014 | San Francisco to Los Angeles, CA – To say this was not one of the most epic endurance experiences I’ve ever felt would be a definite understatement.

After several months of training, after hours and hours of putting time in the saddle, and after learning the ropes of safety and cycling on long tours as much as I possible could before taking off, I am happy to report I finished all 525+ miles of this year’s California Coast Classic. Not to mention, over 26,000 feet of climbing, over every terrain you can think of!

Every inch ridden, every bead of sweat dropped, and every ache and pain, was ALL completely worth it in the name of charity. Together, our team of 189 riders, plus countless support staff, raised over $1,000,000 for the Arthritis Foundation and children’s programming. Next year, I have no doubt we’ll exceed that goal as well.

Keywords — “next year” — because believe it or not, I signed up to do it again in 2015 even before I cycled one minute in the 2014 tour!

Meanwhile, I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Stay tuned… gallery will be uploaded soon.
