Gardening Together with Blind and Low Vision Community in Desert County

November 9, 2022 | Palm Desert, CA – During the pandemic, it has been increasingly difficult for everyone to get out and interact with others. Even more difficult has been the limited interaction and mobility for our seniors and visually impaired community members who otherwise are able to thrive in a non-pandemic environment, especially with the time and assistance of others willing to lend a helping hand.

Now that centers are opening up again, if you have a few hours to dedicate to volunteering, please consider giving some consistent time to organizations such as CREATE, a diverse and creative arts center located in Palm Desert County (73600 Alessandro Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92211).
