University of Maryland, College Park McNair Scholars Program

June – July 2013 | College Park, MD – This summer was a great year working as the lead instructor for the University of Maryland, College Park Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program. I cannot believe that I’ve been working with the McNair program on both coasts for almost a decade now combined–my how time flies!

This year’s cohort was another exceptional class of young scholars eager to pursue graduate school upon their undergraduate studies. It never ceases to amaze me how in such a short amount of time over the summer weeks my students experience such growth and development. This summer was no exception; they were all phenomenal.

I look forward to seeing how they progress in their academic and professional careers for years to come. We became very close this summer, as always is the case, so I thought I’d share our culminating photos we took today.
