Publication Released – February 2013

 – This month the article “Understanding Who Reported Multiple Races in the U.S. Decennial Census: Results From the Census 2000 and the 2010 Census co-authored by Nicholas Jones and myself was published in Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Studies.

The report is the result of research and analysis undertaken in our earlier report released in September, “The Two or More Races Population: 2010” (Jones and Bullock, 2012)It has undergone a more limited review than official Census Bureau publications and is released to inform interested parties and to engage in dialogue. The views expressed within this article are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the views of the U.S. Census Bureau.
