Check Out Photos from My Children’s Book Debut at the LA Times Festival of Books

April 20, 2015 | Los Angeles, CA – The debut of Am I Half Giraffe?: A Multilingual Book for Children at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books was a great success this weekend! I am thankful for all of the wonderful friends and students that volunteered to help at the booth as families and individuals lined up to get their hands on autographed signed copies!

What has been a lifelong social justice project to center the diverse experiences of children and families, as well as, to increase multilingualism and cultural acceptance among the general population is now very much real, and no words can fully explain what it feels like to see your hard work create so much joy on the faces of people from all walks of life alike.

Photos speak a thousand words… CLICK HERE to check out the book’s Instagram page (#amihalfgiraffe) to see the many photos we posted during the event. Like them, share them, spread the word!

To order your own copy, CLICK HERE. To request an autograph copy, place a note with who the book(s) should be dedicated to in the ‘Comments’ section. The distributor will do their best to inform me before they are shipped out for you to enjoy.

Thank you for your support. Onward!
